John seeks dialogue with other art forms through his  improvising, a foundational element of his music making. He has collaborated with artists of various disciplines performing in exhibitions and galleries where these improvisations take direct inspiration from the artwork and artists featured in the space. Spectators take in a multi sensory experience where both auditory and visual media reflect, enhance and perhaps even question the other. Utilizing both preconceived music from a wide range of influences as well as improvised material, John lights up the space with the intensity of raw creation unfolding in real time, each performance a singular event that can never be repeated the same way twice.
